Tried and true recipes from my home to yours!
What is your dog’s favourite recipe?
Peanut Butter Pupcakes! This has got to be one of my very favourites. It’s so good, I’ll bet you’ll just have to try some too. I know I did!
These ones are quick, easy and tasty too. You don’t even need to grease the cookie sheet!
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 Tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup carob chips (not chocolate chips!)
- 1 cup peanut butter, smooth or chunky, whatever takes your fancy!
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup honey
Combine flour and baking powder in a large bowl. In a smaller bowl combine peanutbutter, milk, eggs, and honey. Mix Well.
Add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients and mix with a hand beater. Add carob chips and mix only until blended. Spoon dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 375°F. Let stand for 1 minutes, then remove from cookie sheet, and place on a cookie rack to cool.
Yield depends on the size of your spoonfuls! Mine made about 5 1/2 dozen.
